A prequel to the original Dune, it chronicles how the Sisterhood of Rossak evolved into the Bene Gesserit. The incident with Valya Harkonnen using her voice is from a so-called “Mentats of Dune.” All three books intertwine the development of the Sisterhood, the Mentats, the Navigators, and the Suk Doctors. It’s kind of stupid to me how many people complain about this show after a decent pilot.

The quality was good

I’d give the first episode a 7.6. It’s not a masterpiece, but it’s definitely not crap like a lot of these stupid reviewers are giving it. NO, it’s not like Sex and the City.

Let them release a couple more episodes first, dammit!

And YES, the entire mission of the Benne Ghesserit is about manipulating bloodlines within politics. This is stated in both the movies and the books, so what are you talking about giving it 1-5 stars!? Stop giving the series such an extreme score after just one episode.
